Little Black Dress Society Foundation™

The Little Black Dress Society Foundation™, a 501(c)3, was created to be the hands and feet of the Little Black Dress Society, Inc.  1 out of 3 women around the world has been beaten, coerced into sex, or otherwise abused during her lifetime (according to National Domestic Violence Hotline).  Funds raised through our Foundation will help us to make an impact in women's lives touched by abuse.

 Our Goals

  • To build women's shelters in areas where they do not exist
  • To assist existing shelters to expand
  • To provide transition resources to shelter residents
  • To provide legal resources to those affected by abuse
  • To provide health and mental health resources to those affected by abuse
  • To provide educational resources addressing the impact of, the prevention of, and the recovery from abuse
  • To work in partnership with other community organizations, state and federal agencies, educational institutions, faith-based institutions, corporations, parents, partners, and individuals to expand awareness and provide resources

Through funds raised by our member Societies (chapters), individual and corporate sponsors, and the generosity of individuals, we reach beyond ourselves to support women who have been touched by abuse and continue to build awareness of this growing society problem.
